Toys After the Fall is a tribute to the things we once played with, built, displayed, and quietly obsessed over. From snap-fit plastic model kits to poseable action figures, this space is for the objects that sparked imagination—and still do.

These aren’t just toys. They’re memories in miniature.
They carried us through childhood, shaped our aesthetic eye, and in many ways, helped us make sense of the worlds we loved: sci-fi sagas, giant robots, caped crusaders, and post-apocalyptic rebels.

Here, I document builds, showcase favorite collectibles, and reflect on what these pieces meant (and still mean) long after the play stopped.

Because even in the aftermath… we still hold onto the small things.

Model kits, mistakes and second attempts

A lot of these pieces are less about pristine finished kits than the long middle bit: paint that went wrong, parts that needed stripping, old builds reopened years later and the small satisfaction of discovering that patience is also a modelling tool.
